The controller is Pemberton & Partners, Avenue Louise 35, 1050 Brussels, Belgium (phone +32 2 612 4720, e-mail office@pemberton.eu), operator of pemberton.eu. We collect the data you provide in our contact form — name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message — together with technical data automatically recorded by our server, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to answer enquiries, arrange consultations, provide legal services and meet our professional and accounting obligations. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps taken at your request and the performance of a mandate, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for statutory retention duties, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the secure operation of this website, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where you have given consent, for example through the cookie banner.
3. Storage and disclosure
Data is stored on servers located within the European Union and is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose concerned or as required by the retention rules that apply to our profession and to accounting; mandate files are kept for the period those rules require. We do not sell personal data. Disclosure is limited to our hosting and IT providers acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, and to courts, authorities or opposing parties where this is necessary to carry out your instructions or required by law.
4. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, and portability, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Requests should be sent to office@pemberton.eu; you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
